wew... i used to join every giveaway i could and the site does not stop you from entering giveaways with dlc that you already have so since i won and forgot i had it i thought that he only thing i could do with it was give it back to the community...soz i should of just left it unused right?

Various sorting options should be fine, for instance I would like to see the option to sort giveaways with regards to the number of copies given away. I prefer entering giveaways which distribute more than one copy of the game. Or perhaps they can be sorted according to the highest level I can enter.

I'm not fond of an idea that encourages people to enter just for the sake of trying to win something they probably don't want. People do it, sure, but what is the benefit of encouraging it?

But how can You do that when any time can join to GA new user Oo than Your procentage is decreasing.
BTW there is a possibility to increase the procentage: enter to more giveaways, join to GA groups on steam and make giveaways to lvl up :) TAAAAAAADAAAAA :] now your procentage is increased :]
In my opinion there is no capabilities to make sorting coz there is too many variables.

Just use https://www.steamgifts.com/giveaways/search?entry_max=0 - then 1, 2, 3, etc. It makes no sense doing so, but it works.

Wow... just wow. What you're saying is that you'd actually enjoy that kind of mathematical approach to giveaways? What about searching for the titles that seem fun to play, are high on your wishlist, or simply make you want them? Regardless of your chances? I'd much rather enter a giveaway with 5,000 other entries for a game I fancy, than a 10-entry giveaway of some random thing I don't care about at all.

But.. every game on Steam is the same, right? I mean, they all just add +1 to your library, so really, who cares about the gaming aspect or how other people feel about the games in question, right? You should just try to get whatever is easiest to get because, I mean, it's not like you'd actually play the wins anyway. That'd be ridiculous.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be winning games to farm for cards to spend on buying GTAV.

where they state catagorically that they only enter for a +1 - as all games being given away are shovel ware !!!
that seemed like the oddist place to admit that fact in my opinion - but then I make it a point not to enter giveaways in any playing appreciated threads - which made their admission all the more odd to me :P
anyway - me and my shovelware will continue to fight the good fight :)

While I appreciate the heads up, keep in mind that any negative, explicit reference made toward another [non-banned] SG user, made within any thread other than the one where the matter in question comes up, violates the "No Calling Out" rule and will get you a (I believe 2 day) suspension from the site- so you may want to delete or edit your comment quickly. X
As far as the topic- yes, unfortunately entitled mentalities are rather common on the site. Not that there's anything wrong with entering giveaways just for a +1, if the GA creator agrees to it; taking a game without consideration to the game, the GA creator, and the other entrants is, however, pretty darn slimey. ..especially when one of those users is willing to take the time to publicly brag about that mentality, after 86 wins that they apparently didn't want a single one of; that kind of thing really boggles the mind.

Yeah as stated - it confused me most as the admission was stated in the playing appreciated thread - which is a thread that I make a point of not entering giveaways from, as I cannot guarantee that I will play immediately or in a near time-frame - so to state such things in such a thread was soooo odd to me :P

what if you could sort the giveaways by the highest percentage you have to win, it would probably make everyone join the giveaway however and make it so that your percentage is lower. What do you think?
