there is a maximum discount for bundles enforced by valve, so cheaper reagions get shafted some times.

Weird thing: the bundle displays as -88% but in the bundle details it says 50% off. That's quite a confusing bundle tbh

It's 50% off (standard discount for this bundle) combined with 70% or worse discounting on the individual games (again, which is standard discounts for them). The bundle itself doesn't appear to be additionally discounted. In light of that, I'm not seeing anything special about the pricing for the bundle. Rather, without any content owned, the Collection has a cost of $46.82 [USA], compared to the lows of 39.59 and 40.64 that ITAD says it normally discounts to (and regularly, at that- I'm counting 9 instances just in 2019 alone).

The page very clearly shows that I own the definitive edition of Shadow, yet it tries to sell me the 'upgrade' and dlc to it. How do you upgrade the definitive edition to the definitive edition? It's odd. I think I'll live without it. Or with it. I'm not sure.

If you don't own the DLC, you don't have the definitive edition. The base game got renamed to TR:DE on the store since that's the only version of the game you can buy now.

squeernix really have been cunts about this in my region.. no idea about other regions, but they removed the base shadow of the tomb raider game and only sells the 'definitive' edition. That in itself isn't so bad, lots of publishers do this - but USUALLY they price it at the same or (more reasonably) lower price than the original stand alone sold at launch. Squeernix however, sells the ONLY available copy of shadow of the tomb raider in my region (NZ) at a standard price of 182nzd (~113 usd) so they can fuck off :D
and no i dont care about its discounted price... its hard to get excited about 80%+ off from a ridiculously exploitative original price.

In India the bundle works at 84% full and only Shadow of TR Bundle at 82%! I missed only the latter had rest so still bought full bundle saving 2%. This was on sale same scheme a month or 2 ago also. I missed it then.
