Anyone know where I can get the first Humble Bundle (the actual bundle key on the HIB website that I can claim for myself), and it not cost like a bajillion dollars? I'm a bit obsessive about being a completionist, and that is the only one I'm missing now- I didn't know about HIB back then.

Also, if anyone wants, I have
50% off No Time to Explain
50% off Foul Play (did this show up in everyone's inventory?)

Haha, I feel with you, missing the first one, too. Didn't find it yet :(

Yeah, I saw a giveaway featuring it here a while back, didn't win, though, considering the odds :(

I gifted my two spare copies a long time ago. I'm kind of sorry about that, I could have used a bajillion dollars.

I'm not sure.. You should try out SteamTrades, maybe someone on there has it for sale.

Yeah, to be honest, I didn't originally buy the 2nd HIB either. I got the 3rd one, which had the 2nd as BTA, so I'm still missing the first :D.

How much would an HIB1 be worth? Over on steamtrades, someone asked me to make an offer, so I figured that adjusted for inflation, the BTA price would be $10 today, and I added a 5 over that to give an offer of $15. The moment I mentioned that amount the entire comment thread in which we'd been discussing was deleted. Is it an insultingly low value or something?

Back in the day they were doing real PWYW, not the fixed price/cooked up BTA stuff the Great Humble Corporation likes to run now, so you could get the whole deal for whatever price ...yeah, right, even 1 cent.

So I guess the value is a combination of supply (how many HIB1 gift keys are still floating around) VS what would cost to buy the games individually through sales. Since World of Goo (the real treat back then) has been in countless sales and bundles, I wouldn't be keen on paying more than 2 or maybe 3$, but a collector's perspective might be different.

I would probably go for 20$ for unclaimed gift, doesn't matter if key is used... ;D

I wouldn't have minded bargaining up to $20 (that would've been my upper limit, though), but they just up and deleted the entire comment chain. Unless there is some other reason it would've disappeared.
Now I'm worried they'll see me complaining about it here :D!
