if you actually googled it yourself, you'd have seen its not number 1 in the results, but number 4

And it's somehow my fault that /v/ is not relevant enough to be the number 1 result...?

Yep. Here.

Also shitty customer service at Progressive, No Child Left Behind, and Abortion.

You are (apparently) one sick sadist. Sorry.

no, but it should be more obvious, even to you, that the usual "use fucking google" method is not very helpful in cases where the term in question consists of only one letter

Dude its the fourth result. I get that you like to be difficult, but it clearly works. I think it's fairly obvious that people weren't talking about a TV show, and once you get past those results and down to the FOURTH ONE, you would probably realise, hey they must mean this video game forum.

But hey, I edited my link just for you! So you can stop being difficult now. Thanks.

/v/ is the vidya, the video-games board of 4chan.

Guys, s/he means '/v/', not just V.

/v/ is the videogames board on 4chan, and is the second most populated board to my knowledge.

I would assume that you are asking this question because of the "What kind of gamer are you" thread. If this is the case, then this thread is pointless because it was already answered in that one before you even asked here.

It's a place where people gather together to discuss their common hatred towards virtual entertainment known as videogames.

Srsly you people browse the internet daily yet don't know 4chan? Over half the memes come from that place.

I think that plenty of them know about 4chan, but they either know of 4chan or /b/. With the reputation the sight has, not many people realize you can go there and find a place you could genuinely hold discussions.

Yeah, seriously. How could anyone not know all the websites. I mean how many are there? Like 100?
I haven't heard of 4chan before and I have no intention to visit it now. I don't need another place, where spoilt brats complain about unimportant stuff and insult each other.

It's alright, I hate your home too.

And now our mutual hatred has brought us closer, not unlike your home, which is hated.

Which made this place a bit more hateful to me. Fun stuff.
