Sound from speakers to headset

Usually at night, I always change my sound from speakers to my headset.
For some strange reason, when I try to now, I go to my control panel, hardware and sound, sound, and I click on my headset, but apply is disabled.
What's going on?

just right click the sound icon on your taskbar, playback tab, right click the headset and click set as default device
