Would be interested in the skyrim GA. Anyway, my steam account was quite old and (not)surprisingly my first game was dota 2. Given out quite a lot of beta passes when it first came out.

Thankyou for making these giveaways. I am interested in Skyrim Legendary Edition and Mass Effect 2. I would love to be added to your whitelist.

Elder Scrolls, much like, such wants. Nice Gibaway, though I'm not whitelisted, (yet ;P). My first game (not really, because I bought 3 at once) that I bought was The Binding of Isaac. Loved the heck out of it, and somehow managed to completed it. Now that I look back at it, guess what, fairly new DLC content! Gonna download and really finish it now.
With love, but hate,
A really random SG user who's just writing for a spot in another random SG user's whitelist...

How about giving away the first ever game to be placed on Steam? What is it?
I am drunk btw, so this is just a random thought matched with a random comment.

Would love to enter in your Skyrim giveaway. Best game ever! Got it on xbox 360 but there's no mods :(.

Definitely too new to be in your whitelist (or part of the Mass Effect 2 giveaway for that matter) but just wanted to say that I was in a similar boat with skyrim, I played around with it a ton back when it came out (pirated) with nexus mods (like midas magic and skyui) and soon after bought it on steam. Haven't looked back since joining steam three years ago and have a fairly solid library now if I do say so myself :D

Wow, i'm blacklisted... wonder why
anyway, thanks for the GA. and i felt the same after steam. i'm really not sure why pirating feels wrong now, almost nothing has changed. oh well, life goes on.

The first game ever I've bought on Steam is Left 4 Dead 2. Before that, I pirated games frequently. After I knew about the existence of bundles, sales, giveaways and stuff, I've stop pirating and bought all my games legitly. It's a good feeling, even though some of my friends question what I do (it's the norm here to pirate games, instead of buying them).
Anyway, those are great giveaways. Thanks for sharing and I hope you'll have a great weekend! <3

So back in 2013 I bought a physical copy of Skyrim Legendary Edition. I've been mostly pirating games up to that point (Skyrim included) but the whole modding community and the sheer amount of enjoyment I got out of the game convinced me to buy a legit copy of it.
Never looked back since, I bought almost all games I enjoyed playing before and never felt the need to pirate a game again.
Now that this Skyrim paid modding controversy is over it is only fitting to give away a copy of Skyrim Legendary Edition.
The giveaway is for whitelisted people only, however I'd be more than happy to add more people to my list. Just leave a comment and I'll get back to you if I decided to add you to my whitelist.
[Update] I'm trying to skim through the comments every now and then and whitelist people. If I just comment "whitelisted" or sth without a meaningful reply is not because I don't care about what your saying in your comment, I'm just simply way too tired to respond properly. (woke up at 3.30am today after 2 hours of sleep etc)
There is also a giveaway for Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age: Origins for the rest of you, so that you don't miss out. (both are excellent games, dare to say much much better than an un-modded Skyrim).
Without further ado:
The Elder Scrolls Skyrim Legendary Edition
Mass Effect 2
Dragon Age: Origins
