Multiplayer mode
Leaderboards
No GFWL is a good thing, I guess. Shutting down multiplayer, I never even tried it. Guess I'm too slow. :P

Replacing it with the Rockstar Launcher not so much. As for multiplayer they aren't shutting it down as it will still be available through the GFWL version they're just gutting it from the Steam version. Then there's the music which they aren't even legally required to remove for existing purchases.
A new appid rather than removing/replacing an existing one would solve all of these issues and would probably be easier to set up than the replacement.

It will be the 2nd game they remove from my library, after order of war challenge...
Edit: I just noticed the new guidelines, ant they say:
Won gifts must be activated on the Steam account used during registration, and they cannot be regifted, traded, sold, or removed from your Steam account after activation.
Well, I won Gta Episodes here, it will be removed from my account and then I will not comply with the sg guidelines because of its removal, which could mean consequences here. Yay, I guess. Hopefully I saved my receipt back in the day.

Wait, so it will be only turned into Complete Edition, if you had it at least once installed? So, in my case, I had Episodes from Liberty City in my library (never GTAIV), but haven't installed it once. So it will just be removed, no replacement?

No previous installation required. For you: "Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City will be removed and replaced with GTAIV: Complete Edition in the launcher library".

looking forward to trying to get 'King of QUB3D' and 'Rolled Over' cheevos yet again. those were a goddamn pain in the ass. but at least we can now 100% it due to MP cheevos being cut out.
