Any actual way to report people?

Anyway, i made a giveaway about 2weeks ago. Long story short, same guy that won is making a giveaway of the same game i gave away.
http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/5Vwzn/rush which is there. Was my first giveaway to try and give back to the community, even if small(Ill try later if i get some loot). But i still wanted to give back. With the low amount of mods SG is there anyway to fix this at the moment?

You can report him with the report link in his profile and you can report the giveaway.

Noone (except maybe cg) knows when there will be more mods, so all you can do is report him and wait.

Since he hasn't got that game in his Steam games, report that giveaway, then go to his profile and make another report there.
But what you did here is also a breach of rules.

No, it wasn't. He simply stated the facts. Reporting abusers is the only way to get rid of them, and whoever finds them, should bring them to our attention, so the reports pile up against them.

OP is not running around in forum crying 'This guy is a scammer'. He's simply observing a giveaway is against the rules. If you have a better way of actually making a difference against abusers under the current regime, we're all ears.

Well from what I understand from my months here is that that is not the right way. Yes, there are problems on SG right now, but bending the bent rules is not going to make things better.
I'm not saying that its bad what he did by pointing out that guy, I aprove, but SG rules don't.

I'm perfectly ok with him linking (not even linking tbh) to his own giveaway. If you care enough to look for the abuser, the breadcrumbs are there. If you don't, you can just read through the post and move on. No name calling, no links, no harm done.

As for myself, I looked for the regifter, checked his profile, and reported him.

with cg being alone , it's impossible for him to review all the reports , so the report function in here is pretty much useless

Well thanks people. I figured my cheap ass giveaway would be smooth as eggs(Which i hopefully can correct to the amount i've won eventually), Similar to the other nice people i've won games from. Just wasn't sure with this person. so i kept an eye out after i noticed the one they won before was still in their inventory.
Again sorry mods/admins if it's against the rules but i didn't know where to post aside from reporting which mods of those seem to be away for the most part.

Unfortunately with the site being mod-less it has become a haven for regifters, illegit beta giveaways, guest pass giveaways, and flat out fake giveaways as well. If you alert the police your case may not be solved for a long time. You need to carry an AK 47 just to go buy some milk from the store.
