I guess it was already considered but I think it would be cool to let people create giveaways for other platforms, like GoG/Epic/Uplay but also in-game redeemables or mobile codes
Even if they wouldn't contribute to levels there would be some more good giveaways

Please no. Let's just keep it as Steam. And make entirely separate sites for those...

Was the Steam key Redeem correctly?
This is a world where humanity is one step closer to war just because of that.
This peaceful way is probably safer.
Discussions - Searching 'key drop'

There is no guarantee that GoG or Epic will not come up with some legal reason for transferring keys to others.
Therefore, they would not be involved in key transfers outside of Steam.

There are too many good reasons to avoid that happening. I'm too lazy at the moment to list any. Just believe me )

There are discussions where non-Steam keys are given away.

This removes the "excitement" of having a contest, but it does align with does "not contribute to levels" and does allow users to share their extras with others. :)

If enough people are interested in this idea, for my next project I can try to develop a site like Steamgifts, but for non-Steam keys. However I think not many people will use it and if not many people use it not many giveaways will be created and no new members will join...

Steam is the biggest shop, and the only one with big social element. Ubi, Epic, GOG etc. also don't work with 3rd party to give free games, if there is something free it will be available directly on platform. And any bundles with Ubi or Origin key are extremely rare.

On SG only around 7% GAs are full value. There are not many people that would go to shop to buy game for Ubi client and make giveaway with it.

It's a good idea, but not having it linked with this website. I wish there was a GOGgifts or an Epicgifts or whatever the launcher is, but as many here said, it's expected to not be as popular as Steamgifts.

Imagine spending a shitload of time on integrating something that will give a shitload more headaches for support to resolve.
Let’s say 0.01% of giveaways are non-steam, for which over half have issues in getting redeemed? It’s not worth it.

Name one? What kind of giveaway would you expect to see here for Uplay, Epic, or GOG?
Do we have bundles for these stores? The majority of keys given here are from bundle sites.
I can't remember the last time we had a Uplay bundle (Humble did, years ago).
What will happen is we'll get that one humble choice key no one wants x100 giveaways, and nothing else.
It's best to leave things alone and find another way to give (such as on the non-steam key thread, you can do it there)
