Fez available for pre-purchase!

The guy is a stitch. Always good to say "it's a game meant for console, not PC" and then release it on PC a year later. Though honestly waking up on Saturday morning, playing some Fez on my couch. It does sound kind of nice.

Complete hypocrite, but who cares really.

I'll probably get the game at some point (it has achievements! yay!)... the demo I played on the Xbox was pretty sweet.

It's a unique concept, a 2D platformer in three dimensions. The bit I played of it was fun, probably would be worth the money though I have enough games to hold me over until it goes on sale or shows up in a bundle.

I shouldn't have to say this but there's a difference between not supporting a company when they do something stupid like releasing a game with invasive DRM or doing a terrible porting job versus buying a quality game without those problems from the same publisher.

All of those were from times when EA/Ubisoft weren't incredible piece of shit that doesn't care about it's customers.

You're right about Ubisoft but people have been shitting on EA way before Origin and the SimCity fiasco.

Anyways, I can understand someone's reasons for not purchasing Fez but equating that with Activision/Ubisoft/EA is silly - by your logic you'd never be able to purchase a game from them ever again because an executive/spokesperson once said something you didn't agree with.

If I do one day end up purchasing Fez (providing it's not broken or an absolutely terrible port) I'm not validating Phil Fish's viewpoints, I'm simply supporting his game.

Well, I remember that few years ago (pre-Origin, around Bad Company 2) EA was actually praised as one of the best publishers, one that actually cares about it customers, while everyone was busy buying and hating Activision.

As for "you'd never be able to purchase a game from them ever again because an executive/spokesperson once said something you didn't agree with" - that's definition of boycott :) .
