Steamgifts comment system is converting some of the punctuation characters to formatting instructions. I've ran afoul of it before, myself, posting here.
Look at the "ref" part of the link. The "myd" part is italicized. I can't remember which punctuation marks do it, but my guess is that they have vanished from the link.
