This is my second puzzle for this event and I hope you all enjoy it. This time around we are looking at a statue erected in memory of Napoleon Bonaparte who was an incredibly influential person and was Emperor of the French from 1804-1814 and again briefly in 1815.

To find the entrance to the goodies you have to solve a short riddle. The answer leads to an ITSTOOHARD quiz with prizes and the passcode.

Four You I have put together a small puzzle. If perchance you can find the hidden code you may take part. This time around there are more than six questions to answer so are you ready to enter?

www.itstoohard.com/puzzle/xxxxxxxx where x is the answer to the above.
Note: Collect the passcodes from the 5 landmarks from this week to gain access to a train for week 2!

Schedule for complete event and access to weekly trains can be found HERE

Hint for the riddle: the first two letters/digits require a substitution and the others are easy to find.

Pure coincidence originally, I just picked random landmarks and it turned out like this which I thought was fun.

Thanks for the work you put into this. All I can think of when I read of Napoleon is stuff like this: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/worldviews/wp/2015/06/19/the-strange-journey-of-napoleons-penis/?utm_term=.0868255fb434

I don't get the adress. If I sub only 2, the x doesn't match the amount given...

Look carefully at the all letters in the riddle. You should end up with letters and digits to replace the x's.

There is actually a third clue that requires a substitution and is not just a letter/digit, once you get the first 2 clues I figured it would be easy enough to find the others. I want people to do a little work.

After looking into the internet I found out a substitution of me was just wrong, but all other things correct... Damn you! At least it taught me something. Out of that: The translate french wiki is broken(not found). Could you look into this?

The link works fine for me. Here is the original URL that you can punch into google translate if you are still having problems.

I used other sources to solve the puzzle. Maybe it was only my browser/google setting breaking the link.
