10 carts for 10 years

I recently celebrated my 10th cakeday here, and after (mostly quietly) joining many trains, events, polls over the years, I figured it’s finally time to come out and celebrate with you, awesome people of SG!

A lot has happened over this past decade: I changed jobs, moved into my own home, got married, welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world, said goodbye to my dog of nearly 18 years, upgraded my PC, and built a library backlog big enough to last through my entire retirement.

As DarkDreams1 keenly pointed out here, it’s actually my 11th cakeday! I kept seeing “10 years” on my page in the past few months and just rolled with it. When I saw the cake icon next to my nickname, didn’t even double-check. I’ll be thinking of something special once this train reaches its final destination to make up for the missing cart.

I’m honestly humbled by how many of you have taken the time to drop by and leave a kind word. From the bottom of my heart, thank you! I’m reading each and every message as they come in and will be replying soon. You’re a truly amazing community, and I feel incredibly lucky to be part of it.
