HEY OP! Snagging your attention, just to say you should write up a small description for the first post. I almost exited this thread upon seeing a link by itself. Figured odds are it wouldn't be worth reading when you didn't have anything to say about it either, and I wrote it off as likely friend-spam of one-sided, boring "he said, she said" drama. But I saw the next reply mention all that "Space Trucker" noise from awhile back and I decided I'd at least give it a scan, then found myself actually reading the whole thing.

It's a pretty damn interesting read. And I respect the documentation that went into supporting the allegations (and with a thorough timeline). My only question is why did it take 4 months between the last events happening and the posting going up today? It seemed like the "last straw" was the soundtrack release, but that (and last contact, steam communication, etc) were way back in December. Only other thing mentioned since then is the Microsoft Store part but, but that's not dated.

I would think he'd be able to file a DMCA takedown with Steam against the use of his assets in a game for which there was never an agreement. But on the main problem, Valve's message that they can't do anything is correct and should have been expected; he needs to to get legal advice.

Another dev here. This is why you set up contracts for everything, even if you trust a person as a friend. They're your friend when you're playing games or eating a meal, but when business hours roll around they're just a business partner.

There should have been a contract for Incognito and the reuse of assets in Space Trucker in addition to more paperwork for the SickBrick company relations. It also sounds like Maxwolf should have been listed as a co-developer, not a publisher. He says the last straw was the soundtrack being released, but it should have been much earlier.

This guy needs a lawyer, not a public letter. It'll be hard for him being in Croatia, but it's his only chance of getting his money and Intellectual Property back.
