It is, as of right now, the most anticipated title of the year for me. It's finally passed Diablo 3 for that honor. I CANNOT FREAKING WAIT.
edit: for the record, Borderlands is, IMHO, the best new game/game series of the past 5 years. And we actually KNOW WHEN IT'S COMING OUT~

And for a good reason. To this day, Borderlands is the only fps that I thoroughly enjoy. Not just because of the RPG aspect, but because the 4-co op multiplayer beats the crap out of all other fps titles in terms of sheer fun.

I'm a loot person, it's the perfect blend of Diablo and FPS for me. And as much as I love the co-op..... I actually have a thing for Battlefield for multiplayer, though I was given BF3 for PS3. I <3 BF multiplayer. But either way, BL2 is going to be amazing, and I know half of my friends are drooling in anticipation =D

have you changed any settings since you last got it to work? i would try reverting to the default settings the game gives you. i am re-downloading borderlands as we speak to see if it still works. i had it installed on my laptop originally because i didn't have the desktop computer that i now have. also i needed to save some drive space at that time. i will let you know what happens when it finishes downloading and installing.

I like the first 45ish seconds of it. And some of the rest of it. But that whole "wub wub" thing? Ugh. I don't get it. Dubstep is terrible.

eh? I don't follow. The beginning of the song is good. The pre "dubstep breakdown" part is good. It's when it get's into the heavy breaks that dubstep falls apart. It just doesn't sound good. Up to that point, the song was alright.

No, but considering it is the trailer song for the game, I think they could have chosen better. It's not like I said what I did for no particular reason. To be honest, I think they should have picked something a little more..... ugh hurts to say it, but more mainstream. A lot of people are turned off by dubstep. Granted, the game's going to sell anyways, but every little bit of marketing helps.

Boarderlands markets its own damn self. Its a HUGE franchise now. Trailer has only been out for like 2 weeks officially. But its not set for launch till SEPTEMBER. Soon TV ads and posters will spring up everywhere. This game will sell well, really well. I might just have to pre-order the damn thing. Would be the first $60 game I buy, 2nd pre-order ever just as a reference to my want.

Oh yes, I agree with you. But some people will be turned off by the music for the trailer. It's sad but it happens. That said, I am figuring it will sell a good bit more then Borderlands 1 did. I really hope it does. This is a day 1 for me, even if I have to sell internal organs to do so. And since I'm waiting to see what the CE is going to contain, I very well might have to.
Also, no ill will TheEgo, just one of those things, it's all in teh past.

GW2 eh? yeah, this year is going to be a ugly one for must haves for me. Diablo 3. Borderlands 2. Guild Wars 2. Bioshock Infinite. Resident Evil 6 possibly. God of War 4 for sure if it comes this year. And of course Mists of Pandaria.

I hate CoD. After CoD 4, it became the same thing over and over again, but at a $60 price for each and every repetitive one. I never felt like I was having fun, but wasting my time while 12 year olds were screaming at me.
No offense to you, but its beyond overrated, and it turns our youth into mindless buffoons who don't know what a REAL game can be like.

Love the saga... yes the AI sucks, yes the game was all buggy, like fucking everytime, yes the soldier turret was useless (really... it sucks), the grandes was the most random thing i ever trow in a game, and the cars... oh god the cars...
but the game was FUN, all the time FUN, the jokes FUN, the loot FUN, the bizarre FUN... so yes, i´m really exited for Borderlad 2, and is a must have for me...

I didn't find the turret useless at all. It's pretty good at being a distraction, and depending on how you spec, it does decent damage too. I realize Roland's probably the weakest of the 4, but I have 2 69 Roland's regardless. Shottie and AR spec. I dunno, I always found the turret's usefulness based upon how well you aim it when you use it. It's super awesome when you aim it just a slight bit off and it doesn't see anything to attack..... rolls eyes
