The game they've sent to you is probably region locked meaning it can only be used in certain countries so there's not much you can do try contacting them

Negotiation....i made a gift once, it wasn't even a game, it was a fallout stash courrier something....i didn't know it would be region lock. The guy already gave confirmation positive so i gave him the amount of money the stash was, seems fair enough.

Just write to him saying that it's locked and ask could he send you not locked version. If he can't than mark as not received or write to support (though this could end up him having a ban).

I'm feeling sorry about you, winning a good game but yet can't redeem - mark it as not received, or try to negotiate about him/her buying a non-locked one for you (it's quite often on sales, + summer sale 75-80% for sure)
