Not free to play but CSGO is best to profit right now, Dota 2 drops are almost not existent and tf2 are most of time not marketable.

CSGO is best to earn some steam wallet money.

Also Happy New Year to everyone !

yeah if you have luck from getting dem drops, tell me about it.. got 900 hours in it,but the new operations are too expensive to buy, however I know if i buy one ill earn more than i spent. Are there any other ways from profit @ csgo?

Do you get more / better drops when buying these operation passes or what?

DotA 2 always drop items when you lvl up, CS:GO is random

yeah, but they can't be sold untill lvl 15 i believe :/ which requires like few months

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

They can be sold if you got them via drop and not from welcome chest, but like I said drops are not almost not existent, they changed how drop works on 30 okober and there is no level drops anymore, I haven't got drop for 62 days.

However if you somehow get drop (it is possibile they didn't removed system but it is really hard to get anything) it will be marketable no matter what level you are.

but the chance getting a drop is very very low you say?

Yes, I haven't got 1 drop for 62 days and I play every day.

Didnt know it, now lvl up = more e-penis only?

Yep, for now lvlup means nothing other than e-penis..

However I think they will do something soon with this system, everyone complains and noone likes it.

Question: does new system generate less, or more money? If Valve see more money, that means system works and there's no need to fix.

CS:GO easily, but mind you it's the hardest to play out of the Dota2/TF2/CS:GO trio.

False, the drops are given on a weekly basis, regardless of the game mode

CS:GO is THE hardest FPS to master, ever.

But no, it's not %1 as hard as DotA2.You need some superhuman senses/knowledge to actually be a professional player at D2.CS:GO just needs some time to master, D2 needs pure skills, reflex and A LOT of training.

And yeah, you could make money in CS:GO but they changed drop system a lot.I had some glocks which I sold for 20$ in total in one month. It's not bad really, 20$ monthly out of nowhere yey ^^

Wow you just earned my respect by bringing Quake to the table, that is a whole new level of expertise. Truth is both Dota2 and CS:GO are hard to master (it's a rule of thumb, everything is hard to master in life, no effort=no payoff), even TF2 is hard to master. The truth is I suck at TF2 (I can call myself a decent player just recently) and still made hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars by doing clean trades (not scams/sharks), around 600 out of my 670 games I got by purely trading in TF2 (it took me 4-5 months and full time effort though).

all f2p games require solid effort to make a profit. thats why theyre f2p.

if i were you, best bet would be to stump up some cash and buy csgo and trade up weapon skins. thats your best bet id say.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

ya, i got cs:go and 900 hours already on it, trading up weapon skins is impossible. All I get from MM/pub servers are 0.4c skins

Permalink

crates. trade a bunch of crate drops for a single decent 'better' weapon. then trade that weapon + some more free crates for a better weapon, then trade that weapon for a weapon thats worth a little more. i worked my way up from 3 crates to a well-worn asiimov p90, minimal wear conspiracy desert eagle, and a dark water ups-s before i got bored, so it can definitely be done.

spiral knights was fine to farm last year, before they fucked up the recipes of items. all u had to do was to check auction, buy cheap items, resell for higher price, a few minutes a day, when you had enough money, u would've bought Energy and later sell Energy for tf2 keys

idling on csgo as soon as they add new crates is a good way too, crates cost 0.50 - 1 euro the first few days

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I haven't touched spiral knights in years, but I have some energy from back then still in my inventory. Where do you go to trade that for tf2 keys?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Spiral knights forum, i got many games of my library (Skyrim LE, Dishonored GOTY, Fallout 3 GOTY, Fallout NV, Tomb Raider Collection, Darksiders franchise, Dead Island franchise... and at least 15 or 20 more games just trading my CE for TF2 keys or for those games).

The problem is many players have left the game so it's harder to find new traders and you need many hours to get enough CE (1400-1500CE = 1 TF2 key).

like Ikkimura says, SK forums (baazar) or the SK community discussion trading section
and you might need a bit more than 'some' energy, tho i dont know the current prices as i stopped playing it

eh, mine were pretty much 'earned' ever since they added TF2 trading, then steam trading, a few keys / month from spiral knights, then dota 2 and csgo, the steam market, but 90% of the profit i made was from reselling steam gifts :) but now its all over ;__; soon gonna cashout for the last time probably

TF2 - if your willing to play, unfortunately no idling ;(; so you have to legit play unfortunately

CS GO - easy, just idle, get 4 items, wait for drop reset, idle and get 4 items, wait for drop reset, idle and get 4 items. Pretty much on CS GO getting items is easy asf, but it's not f2p.

idling works man.. I gotted like 2 items in 2 hours... But untradable, unmarketable, though.. How to get them tradeable? I am new at TF 2, can i get anything good from crafting? Because making refined metals, would get me like 1 tf2 key in a month or even 2 months.. as I was looking that in crafting i can get 0.05 refined items from 2 items... Can you give me tips, because i can idle items..

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

In Order to idle you must meet this criteria:

Connected to VAC Secure server.
Responding to in-game drop notifications while not utilizing external programs to do so.
Running only one instance of the game.
Not running the game in textmode.

Okay, but why are you getting untradable and unmarketable items? The reason why is for your items to be tradeable and marketable you MUST have a premium account. To get a premium account just buy ANYTHING off of the steam store, and your account will be converted to premium. The cheapest thing of the TF2 store (Mann Co. store) are $0.50 items; is it worth it? With me and my 400+ hours in TF2 I have to say it's NOT worth it. You see a year ago there was an update, in which you MUST accept items when idling or you won't get any other items. This used to not be there, and also the TF2 market was REALLY flexible, I would idle for one week and just those items got me a TF2 key which could get me a game. So JUST off of TF2 idling I got 1 game every 2 weeks; which explains my 130+ games. But back then getting a TF2 key was REALLY EASY, it was like 2 refined for 1 TF2 key. BUT NOW ITS LIKE 10 REFINED FOR 1 TF2 KEY. It would take you around 5 months JUST TO MAKE $2.49!!!!! Not to mention you also HAVE to babysit your computer and accept the drops you get!!!!

Pretty much, it's not worth it AT ALL.

Permalink

Actually..currently it's something like 17 ref for 1 key. Not worth at all anymore.

Best bet would probably be TF2 trading with in-game items to get hats, then marketing the hats.

EDIT: Well, trading the hats for keys then selling the keys. I forgot hats aren't marketable.

Kingdom Online, it's the successor of Knight Online. You can make in-game money and sell them for real life money.I did it a lot at the times of Knight Online, I earned thousands back then. But be aware, Kingdom Online is REALLY shitty.I signed up, played 1 hour and already made 200k in-game cash which you can sell for 2-3$ IRL.
