Maybe I've been lucky, but I only have positive experiences from the 140ish trades on ST. I wouldn't even have thought of the possibility of trading games, had it not been for that button. I fairly recently started using barter as I find it far more convenient. I now do find that ST is missing key functionalities in comparison.
OP, you sound pretty angry and hostile against ST. I'm sure you raise some valid points, but don't forget it's been great for many of us over the years.

Aaaand now I keep clicking the "support" button instead of "discussions" out of habit of its usual location...

I can understand removing it, but having my entire trade thing removed is a bit frustrating so basically it seems like you can't even trade on it anymore so why not delete steamtrades entirely.

Since ST has nothing at all to do with SG, why is it still advertised here as an integral part of this site? Or are new people just supposed to guess which buttons are related to this site and which are not? If you have it between Giveaways and Discussions it really is a part of this site. At least label it with a red warning that you will get scammed and there is absolutely no moderation and it's your own fault for trusting scam links on a trusted site.
