Too many negative reviews ruined him for a mistake I feel for him.atleast this way now those people can give review based on the game not on the key debacle.

lol - I bet he'll not hit the "ban keys options" again so fast. At least he is trying to make good, poor guy.

Weren't there like 7 reviews before this mess?

Yep, and most of those were mentioning that the game was actually good but it had no playerbase.

Thank you Madjoki. Too bad there is no solo, the game doesn't look so bad.

Lol, what a petty herd destroying the dev for a mistake he tried to make up for. I wonder how many of them will bother to retract the review after they get their +1 back. TBH steam should clean up the "reviews" that are not really reviews.

Yeah it's stupid, people love to get in a frenzy over anything. So many people screaming bloody murder over a game that has been dead and forgotten about since it launched, leaving nasty messages everywhere they can to the developer over a fuck up he's been trying to fix. As soon as it hit the front page of r/Steam and places like that it was over, I hope he can still pull through with those updates he said he's been working on but it'll take A LOT to make it through that shitstorm unscathed.

I would absolutely love it if Steam would clean up bullshit reviews, it pisses me off so much for example whenever I see a small indie VR game with negative "I don't own a VR, couldn't play it" reviews, and these kinds of angry mob reviews over something that has nothing to do with gameplay are bullshit too

That old saying that the IQ of a crowd is the lowest IQ in the crowd divided by the number of people in the crowd goes double online. Nothing quite as moronic as an online mob.

Agreed. Kids these days are very entitled, quick to jump to conclusions and too stubborn to admit a mistake. Most of them will probably let their negative review stand, as to appear confident that they have been oh so wronged. One of the top rated negative reviews talks about how he "supported the game," even though he won the game in a mass giveaway from the dev (left that part out)...

Heh yeah it's the thumbs up/down mentality. Of course he "supported the game". If he didn't destroy the game via killer review (until now), it's basically the same as supporting it, right? 😎

First time I hear that saying, but it cracked me up really hard. So damn true.

Not to mention those idiots are ruining a good game they paid for and making sure with all their negative reviews that nobody will play it.... which is kinda counterproductive when you're the owner of a multiplayer game since you kinda need other people to play it

Someone missed the "Since this game is free, all reviews are counted currently" notice.
But do go on with your rant there and "Steam should do X"...

giving your own personal opinion of a game, or making a funny or even mocking review of a bad game is useful.. Anyone who bases their purchase solely on steam reviews is a fool..

So many ways to review a game exist.. either via youtube gameplay, youtube reveiws, various online reviews which are given by real reviewers.. Using steam should be taken with a grain of salt...

Steam really needs to clean up BS reviews (like if that’s a report option that could be added maybe “not a valid review/spam”?). Dev was honest, actually responded to the issue, and is solving the problem. More than you get from a lot. He made a mistake and is making it right and that’s something I can’t flame.

90% of the crowd never played the game and also everyone thinks their opinion is important "good to be with the masses"

kinda same feat. worked 1942 is working 2018

dont know whats happend, but lets pretend the crowd knows best, the majority has the power, even its wrong

Well, to be fair... it's kinda hard to play a MP-game without a crowd.
Makes me wonder why indies keep developing those kind of multiplayer only games when they are mostly completely unplayable. But they keep trying and trying and trying :/

if only steam could implement a way for reviews to only be allowed if they are related to game-play

There are some games that can be finished well within 12 hrs

12 hours is a horrible idea, people will just use SAM to make reviews and it won't have any real basis on the actual content of the game..

Or, if you feel those reviews are unjustified, flag them to be removed. You can do so if you open them in a different window. Downvotes don't count for review relevance anymore.

cards will be worth like .03 cent because of all the people idling them.. will get 1 penny per card sold, and alot of them will be going into people's account to complete badges so they give no profit to the developer..

But will they retain 20 concurrent players once the free period is over... or is it literally 100k bots (it's 100k bots)

Couldn't play yesterday because they had server issues (they weren't expecting the heavy load that comes from making a game free I think) but I hope I'll be able to play this week

after the first "server connection", the place of "choosing a free ship" is like a bottleneck.
It took me 20 minutes to redo.XD
After selecting the first ship, if the server connection goes well, it is not heavy.
I enjoyed tutorials and games as usual.
It was a space fighter game.
As Lv goes up, accessories and special ships will be lifted, it seems that you can upgrade and customize various equipment with the loot you picked up on the battlefield and the accumulated points.
