thats what I was thinking originally and looking at humble pages it says if a key isn't working then they have run out and to wait a bit before they restock

okay this is a option because I don't care too much about the CV just don't want anything on my record as being someone who hasn't tried to fix things

Contact Humble support about it but don't mention the GA but rather say you gave it to a friend and the will replace the key.

but this is a humble monthly key.
it can still happen, if their record looks fairly good (look thru prior win comments and see if it's a normal thing from them) tbh i'd assume they are probably being honest. and like others said, just contact humble support for a replacement in that case.

So I've been making GA's for the last week or two giving away all the humble bundle keys I haven't used myself (if I'm not fully interested in playing the game I feel like it should go to a better home...I don't care about a +1 to my library) that was my main reason for starting to use this site as opposed to just doing random key drops places.
Anyways today I found out one of my GA's is apparently a "duplicate key". and I'm not sure how that could come about as I only clicked "redeem on steam" before pasting it into the GA-definitely haven't activated it myself and haven't let anyone see it.. I understand how there's a high chance of keys from re sellers being duplicates and that comes with all those shady things but this is a humble monthly key.
If I had a bunch of money I would just buy the game on steam and gift it but I really can't afford to-its not so much that I "can't cause I'm cheap" but that I don't want to go another week without eating...(I'm in university and don't have a job)
what should I do? I've been looking around on FAQ's for a hour or so but I can't afford to spend so much time on this as exams are in a bit.
