OP, I think you're overstaying your vacation in Wonderland. :3

Not gonna happen... But you should just play your old games as they were, without achievements. If I remember correctly that was still good times and I don't think I would regret it if achievements would go, even if I admit that they help tickling my completionist side.

Steam is amazing i think, a plataform where you can play your games, with updates, achivements, badges, trading cards, emoticons, dlcs, a lot of merchandasing if you love a game, a lot of offers in christmats and a lot of free to plays but i miss something...
If steam can one day make a deal with companys like Lucas Art, Nintendo or Sony to let play old games with achivements to do a competitive replay of the games, or some deal with a emulator to include in steam the possibility to install one application like steam workshop for the mods, but one aplication which let you play old games totally legal and with achivements, then the pc thanks to steam will win the war of the videogames of the all times and i will die crying in my bed.
Not but, out of the joke i hope someone is thinking about it, if someone of valve is in steamgifts please add me to talk :D.
Sorry for my english, is not perfect, but i try to use it correctly withouth translate programms.
Cheers, fellas.
