Hi. I might be wrong about this and that would be embarrassing, but i just got a voucher for ESO wich apparently work for multiple people:

Hey PrinceCola,

This weekend we’re kicking off with a rather special voucher*, 25% off The Elder Scrolls Online and Thief. We felt bad at the thought of you venturing out into the harsh lands of Tamriel alone, so this voucher will work for your friends too! Get the ol' gang together, it's time to take control of the Imperial City!

So....uh enjoy i guess. Pls tell me if it works.

Seriously doubt it would work, considering ESO isn't out yet, and when it does come out it will be a subscription type thing, so unless you get 25% off your subscription....

Got the same mail. Won't buy it, though, but will give the key to a friend of mine.

$60 game + monthly subscription + microtransactions in the game = has greedy money grabbing business model written all over it imo

That's going to be a big problem and will turn a lot of people away. Honestly, the best thing that can happen is that it fails miserably with such an anti-consumer-friendly business model so it sends a message to Bethesda and others that it is not acceptable and will not work. I think the last thing that consumers need is this game setting some sort of precedent for MMO business models moving forward.

Plus I have heard from a friend who played a lot of Oblivion & Skyrim and who was in the beta for TESO that it's not that great (and certainly not worth the asking price).
