GTA 4 or Borderlands 2, which is better?

I'd say they are too diferent to be compared.

It's a really hard question, since for both you'd get the same game hours.
I'd have said BL2 fo sho, if it had the DLC's.

bl2... gta4 was quite boring game at the start...

I had a lot more fun with BL2. I didn't even finish GTA4 and even after 92 hours of BL2 I still plan on playing more :)

I see how badly you want to compare these two games, but meh I just can't do it.
So my answer is BOTH are good.

Borderlands 2. GTA 4 is just crap.

GTA IV. Borderlands is crap, & hardly "open world".

They are 2 different genres, but if you're looking to play a lot, then you could go for Borderlands 2.

Preffer Borderlands 2, GTA IV Is fucking shit on PC.

I enjoyed both a lot but I gotta say GTA 4 is crap on pc. I have over 400 hours on borderlands 2, loot hunting gets very addictive.
BL2 is not exactly open world but you have a lot to explore.
GTA 4 is very cool to blow shit up and cause mayhem but after the main story is over you ain't got shit to do.

Go for Borderlands 2.
You can get GTA complete collection on steam for a better price on sale, you just got to wait.

Both are good games. GTA IV on PC has some issues, but it's still pretty nice in overall. However, I'd take Borderlands 2 now and wait for Steam sale - GTA Complete Pack costs 7,5€ on discount.

GTA 4 uses GAMES FOR WINDOWS LIVE.

Also, I'm just checking the GTAIV forums on Steam and there might be some issues with game currently...

bl2 if you can get over the memespouting the talented writer decided to include this time around, and don't mind the retarded amounts of DLC (please don't buy it unless it's on sale, and note that the GOTY version is deceiving and doesn't actually include all DLC like most games with the GOTY title do). i don't know about anyone else, but i only find the games fun with friends as well.

i'm mad at gearbox over bl2, but it's still a fun game i suppose.

Buy the complete edition for GTA 4 AND wait for the real GOTY for borderlands 2 including ALL DLCs.

Hmm... If you want it on PC, I've heard GTA has terrible performance on a computer... So I'd say Borderlands 2.
