Really AWFUL Doom Gameplay by Polygon (The player is awful, not the game.)

It's Polygon, he was probably stopping and starting the game so he could look for anything problematic and triggering in the environment. Also Doom has some hidden privileged cis white males to shoot in the far distance but only for a split second, I don't blame him for stopping to look so often.

It looks like whoever was playing had a controller in their hands for the first time...

Well, looks like the verdict is in: the single player campaign is apparently fucking awesome, and despite the modern shooter elements (including optional challenges and character/item levelling), it feels like an oldie shooter properly done.

IgoyElbows, i think this video does bring up a point that should be discussed in general. Should video game reviewers be "good" at video games to further validate their reviews or is that not necessary because there are all different kinds of gamers so it can be from a whole variety of perspectives?

Oh, man, that's terrible. I enjoyed the game, but people like that shouldn't be allowed to post "gameplay" videos. It's okay to be bad at a game and review it, but that's not representative of gameplay.

The more you play FPS games with gamepad, the better you'll become.

But yeah, it's a gamepad. I even don't count on it for TPS games, just use it when i get tired of using mouse and then attach the gamepad to system to recharge myself for using mouse and keyboard again. :P

When i use gamepad i'm not much sensitive about my aiming accuracy.

To be fair the console controls are not the best, although it is clear he is not very good at it.

This pretty much sums up video game journalism, remember when that guy gave one of the Total War games a bad review and someone found his profile on steam and he had < 1 hour of game time.
