Really AWFUL Doom Gameplay by Polygon (The player is awful, not the game.)

Watching how awful he is brings me great discomfort.

Honestly, the new Doom doesn't look very promising altogether. What I've seen so far it looks like a solid 7/10 okay-ish game.

Only watched a little and it made me frustrated with how bad the player is. That person should not be making gameplay videos for FPS games ever again. Also it's so bad they ended up disabling comments and like/dislike for that video.

Seriously, that's about how bad I am at FPS games.

Excuses = I'm a leftie who cannot operate the mouse in my right-hand at all so I play left-handed. I don't re-bind keys because it's too much effort. My rig is hooked up to my living room tv and I have my keyboard on my lap with the mouse on the arm of an armchair. I'm not even sitting directly facing to the tv as it's off to the side. I'm truly terrible. Still find fun in them, you just really don't want me on your team! (I actually avoid ream stuff as a result)

I think they must have gotten mixed up and picked a Stormtrooper instead of the usual protagonist for that video. The demons were super polite about it- they noticed that and in a moment of understanding and compassion decided not to rip him to shreds. Or maybe they all just collectively had brain farts.

After 30 seconds I was reminded of my friend who never played FPS and then one time we tried to teach him how to play Quake 3 when we set up a LAN at our college flat and it looked like this. Then at 44 seconds I thought "oh, they are using a controller for a FPS game!"

Past 3 minutes mark: Why does this look like a funny game for kids / something from CN television?

Just talked to a friend who has bought the game and has watched the video after I sent it to him and he claims enemies do not behave like that on default difficulty level, so this must be some sort of easy.

Playing an FPS with a controller does that.

Is he bad? I mean... that's how I play FPS as well. I like games with muskets, bows and melee. :D

It was like watching someone jump into a fast-paced action game for the first time and end up rolling around like a tank.

Wow that's pretty atrocious. Why would you not get someone that can play the game to do that is beyond me.

It seems like their brain is unable to do more than one thing at once, like moving + shooting. This person gets paid for this....
