I just bought Slender The Arrival, pretty good for jumpscares

Hell, get it on PS2 rather than there. :P
Honestly, I'd like a PS2 copy myself, no gamepad support on PC so I have some difficulty with the keyboard controls.

I got a few problems with my left hand, so would have liked the gamepad support myself. Most games using a keyboard are harder when you are trying to use only your index finger and thumb.
Also, a freeware game, but look up this one

I feel your pain Delta. I couldn't use keybinds back when I played WoW (which is a must if you plan on doing max level content beyond a casual level) since I have limited mobility with my hands (more so with the left like you). Ended up getting a Razor Naga which helped a lot once you get used to it.

I'm just too cheap to hunt down a fancy mouse with extra buttons for gaming. :P

Ya I ended getting it as a birthday present myself tbh. It makes life so much easier though so if you can save up for it, I would highly recommend it.

I totally recommend White Night. I created some thread here a couple weeks ago praising it. I bought a nice amount of horror games so far since it's one of my favy game genres. Sylvio seems like a nice gem so far, bought it on the start of the sale. it was 50% then

Lisa looks pretty nice and twisted. It's $3 on the Flash sale right now, has anyone played it and enjoyed it? http://store.steampowered.com/app/335670/

I bought it but it was different from what i was expecting , plus the pace was really slow at the start so i asked for a refund. Maybe it was not for me , i dont know .

Steam lied to me. They said I will get it if I own The Evil Within on Steam, but I didn't get it. Bethesda said, that they had no idea about the promotion. No Steam, I will not buy it, don't you expect such thing!
Thanks for the recommendation, though :)

If he wants the DLC, that would mean that already has the base game.

I own all Bioshock games, except their DLCs, and I've already said that Monstrum lacks of content for me. 3 or 4 different monsters, but nothing to fight for. Once you've found the way to do each escape route, the game dries empty. I'm keeping my eye on it however.

Bought The Vanishing of Ethan Carter. I hope that White Night, Uncanny Valley, Enola and Kholat goes on daily deal or flash deal, and I hope that I will be able to pick up Sylvio and Outlast:Whistleblower on Encore sale. Does it bring back all titles?

I am a chicken so I don't know any good horror games XD.

^ i can say " 7/10 " if you want my opinion about it . has a " good " story line .
^ Same developer. imo, better game than their previous title !
^ I didnt play it yet, i dont know what can we say about its horror elements !

I totally forgot about Penumbra, and I might get it, thanks! As for the other 3, I own both Amnesia titles, and I have fed up with Slender Man. I mean none of the games has story, and in my opinion story is really important for a good horror game.

The S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games
These often get forgotten about when bringing up horror games, but they are up there as some of the best. Brutal games where even the most basic enemy can kill you if you don't go in prepared. And darkness is actually darkness in these games. When the sun goes down, be prepared to crawl your way through pitch black, all the while being terrified at what might be inches away from your face. They are always featured in the Steam sales so keep an eye out. Start with Shadow of Chernobyl and then I guess play Call of Pripyat after that if you like them. Clear Sky is generally considered the worst, although still good.
Penumbra: Overture and Black Plague
Both really great horror games. The third game (Penumbra: Requiem) is horrible though so avoid that one. They've got interesting stories so it's not just nonsense like the Slender games. They go super cheap in the sales.
Amnesia: The Dark Descent
See you already own this. It's well known for it's scare factor so I won't bother going into that. What's less talked about is it has a really awesome story and it deals with atmosphere and tension just as well as it's monster scares. A huge plus is the custom stories you can play with the game. I've spent more time playing these custom stories than the main game. Obviously play the main story first though. I'd avoid A Machine For Pigs cos it's boring trash.
System Shock 2
See you own this too. It isn't your typical horror game but it's definitely one of the creepiest games I've played, which is impressive considering it's blocky alien-men running at you. Weapons that break, scarce supplies and respawning enemies all make things worse still. It is a brutally hard game though, sometimes even unfairly so. There are mods and things to make it easier on yourself. For a first playthrough I would definitely recommend Easy mode and maybe even playing in coop with a friend. Coop makes the game stupidly easy. If you like Bioshock then it's a must!
Metro games
They're kind of like the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games but they have less emphasis on horror. Still, they definitely have horror themes so it's worth a shot, and they are generally just really great games. Some of the best modern-day shooters for sure.

Guys, I can't believe it, but I don't want to buy anything on this sale, except a few titles. I've already bought all PAYDAY 2 DLCs, and Wolfenstein The Old Blood, and now I feel like I need some good horror games to play. These are the ones I'm thinking on to pick up:
-The Vanishing of Ethan Carter
-Uncanny Valley
-Enola
-White Night
-Kholat
-Outlast: Whistleblower DLC
So did I miss any other good horror titles, or is there one (or more) on this list, where the PR guys made a better job, than the devs itself? I'm happy to hear your opinions :)
P.S.: Before offering, please see my profile if I have that game (on profile or on wishlist), thanks :)
