Ever been blacklisted without knowing why?

First time I ever had this happen before.

Browsed past a random giveaway posted by an old friend on my steam list. We never had a falling out or anything or left on bad terms. I just stopped logging on steam for a while and then noticed they were off the friends list one day.

Clicked on it just out of curiosity and thinking about entering it only to find out I was on their blacklist. No clue why, I could understand not being on a white list, but no clue about a black list. Don't anger me so much as it confuses me as to why.

Anyone else ever had that on here? And did you ever find out as to why?

Have had many people ask me why I blacklist them, buts I think I only gave the answer one person mainly because they're pretty nice. I only blacklisted them because they had already originally won a GA of mine a month before and I was just wanting to give other people a chance to win. Can say that the Blacklist sounds harsh in this occasion, which caused me to remove the BL later on after we discussed it.

I never found myself on anyone's blacklist. Or just wasn't lucky enough to encounter a giveaway from a user that blacklisted me. I'm really curious if I am blacklisted by somebody (and why).

I see a leecher; especially one who is still level 1, and that is enough for me to blacklist someone.

If that is the case, you don't need to blacklist anyone, just create a level requirement for your stuff which effectively blacklists everyone who doesn't meet it and saves you a bunch of hassle handling that list.

Ever since the blacklist feature was implemented, I have willingly been not commenting on the discussions all too often. I've heard about people being blacklisted for having different opinions than others, and that worries me :o.
