Newegg.ca from the US Question

I'm looking to make a purchase for a Steam code from Newegg.ca as it's not available from the US newegg.com. Unfortunately I couldn't pay via PayPal as I think the US address blocked it. Does anyone know if I can purchase a gift card from Newegg.ca and then use that gift card to make the purchase?
