I still don't get why they still want to try and charge $10-30 for old 1995 games and older....
Got many of the old Quake games on CD and wanted to put them on my Steam account as well only to find they want frigging $10 for Quake 2 without the expansions or $30 for the whole set of 10-20 year old games.........

The age of a game has very little to do with it. I bought Regards and Baftlespire and having Arena and Daggerfall tied to my GOG account is much more convenient then keeping a mess of files for them in my Dropbox account and th3n having to faff around to get it running when 3v3n I want to play it.
It cost me £7.78 for four games that will give me hundreds of hours each - how is that not value for money. I already own the id shooters on steam and the GOG versions don't include any worthwhile extras so I can skip those and the Fallout titles where given away free before they where pulled from sale.
To be honest though these are there for those who want DRM free, any one who just wanted the games would have already got them elsewhere.

I'm tempted with the Elder Scrolls games. ~$22 is a bit steep, though. Hmm...
And I already own all id games in Steam but as you mentioned I will be buying them again from GOG as I want DRM-free versions. They're worth $18 in my opinion, so I'll probably pick them up this weekend. :)

I do still play them though ^^, but I do get your point.
On the other hand, a lot of games are stored on pretty old media or got lost due broken floppies or CD's over time. So in a few cases I already was happy to get a few old games, which I could add to my collection again. Maybe there are a bit overpriced from time to time, but who still got a working 5 1/4° floppy drive to get Wing Commander I - Special Operations I & II secured and working again?

I thought Arena and Daggerfall were already free from Bethesda

They are. Most will find this much more convenient though.

I would also like to see the Master Levels in the pack.
And you're correct. The original Fallout games that were available prior to this rerelease are now labeled "Classic." They are the Interplay versions and include many things the "new" Bethesda rereleases do not. Owners of the Interplay versions have no need to purchase the current ones, and actually have superior versions to the currently available. Hopefully Bethesda continues to work with GOG and get many more releases!

I just realized GOG and Bethesda have reached an agreement! Right now if you buy any Bethesda game you get The Elder Scrolls: Arena and Daggerfall added to your account for free.
Current games available:
