Ever tried to pull an overnighter to finish a game that you were playing? or try to go without sleep for 25hours?

That is what I am trying to do, but rather for charity, on nov2 Extra-Life host its once a year, 24 (now 25) hour marathon for gamers like you and me to create awareness and raise some money for some kids using games as the media and gamers as the ones providing it

It would be my hope that you could check it out my giveaways and see the links there to find out more:

Giveaway 1

Giveaway 2

Giveaway 3

Giveaway 4

I will be adding to this list as we get closer to nov2, the starting giveaways are for testing the waters so look forward to bigger games.

We will also be doing raffles and making some members MVP's check out the newly created steam group for details: CharityKids

I have read about this but I didn't really get the point. Maybe you can explain it to me. Gaming for charity, sounds good. So you will game for 25 hours and ask your family and friends to donate (that's what I read on their site). But you could ask them without the gaming part anyway because it makes no difference for them. So is this just for marketing? Or does it aim more towards live streamers? Anyway, good luck.

it would be like doing a running marathon for charity, it could make no difference to your family that you're running, but they give because it is a set point that you are going for, the same goes for this, we have all these gaming communities now which generally is our larger friends base that we havent really been doing much for any cause with one another, this aims to bring us together for a cause, and it is my plan to do it on a stream to engage more of the community, you can find my link on the site.

You got a point there for sure. The problem is see is that gaming is still looked down at.
