What can i do if i dont receive a gift?

Ok i won an ARMA 2 contest (http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/r7mo6/arma-ii) but i never got it. It has been 6 days now D:
Does this site have some ways to prevent "scammers" like that?

According to what I can see on his profile neither of his gifts have been marked as not received. I believe you can mark it as such under manage your giveaways -> won -> click no. I don't know how it is currently handled, but giving him a no is likely to result in a ban eventually.

If it's been six days, this won't work:
"Important: 'Not Received' feedback can only be left after the giveaway has been closed for one week. This allows the sender adequate time for gifting the game."

To expand upon this, after 1 week you can mark gifts as "Not received" - which lowers the "Percent received by Users" on the gifter's profile.

  • if your friend wants the game you can generate an invite code and "THEY" can enter the giveaway.
  • giveaways are NOT here for you to re-giveaway over and over.

then thats something you need to explain and pm to a mod so they can Re-Random the giveaway, and they can talk to the giver to explain the situation. Just because you won, doesn't mean that it's ok for you to give it to a friend or "re-gift" it on the site. That's taking advantage of the creator of the giveaway and that's morally wrong.

  • If I was giving a gift, checked the givee and saw that he already had the game, then he tried multiple attempts to talk to me, It'd look just like spammer behavior to me. The problem is that you didn't tell anyone the entire story or PM the mods.

Gifts are often not delivered these days, hanging as not sent in sender's account. You should let know the sender somehow that you didn't get your gift.
