Because We May Indie Sale

"We believe that developers should have the freedom to price their games how they like, without interference from the online stores that sell the games. Why? Because it allows us to promote our games more freely, as we are doing here! We rely on the ability to promote our games for our livelihood and control over pricing is an important tool for this purpose."

For the last week of May (May 24 through June 1) our games will be deeply discounted to celebrate online stores that give us control over pricing: The App Store, Google Play, Steam, and a few others.

Most of the bundles now I have 90% of the games already. This one however, I am extremely interested in as the game list goes on and on and they are all great games.

Agreed. Most games are only 50% to 66% off. If you were looking for a build-a-bundle system to cheaply get the games from bundles you missed, this isn't it.

Also, apparently a $3 game is on sale for only $99.99.

If a game is sufficiently cheap (and it's something I want), I might buy it. Many of the indie bundles fall into this category. If this sale had included discounts of that magnitude, I'd also be buying games from it. As it stands, however, the price reduction isn't sufficient to justify my buying the games with my limited budget. If I don't buy them now, I can reasonably expect them to be on sale for this price later (I'm not really under pressure to new games now).

As for being happy that they're on sale at all, that doesn't make sense to me. Either something is cheap enough that I'll buy it, or it's not. If it's on sale but enough to get past that threshold, the sale makes no difference to me.

prob have to wait a couple hours for steam to change the prices and all that stuff. They tend to do all of that, including change the daily deal around 1-2pm EST.

Some games you will get on the developer site for $ and get a steam key, so you can save a little bit. :)
But we have to wait for price changing ._.

I wanted to buy Super Meat Boy and Psychonauts (People keep on saying that they are awesome) but I think I'll just wait for summer sale, it'll be a better deal, I guess.

I thought the prices would be a lot lower, and I'll stock up on gifts, but I guess they wanted to save me money. The games I was really curious about I found out I already have from indie bundles.

Yeah I also thought something in the lines of 1 $ per game. I would have gotten like 10 titles if that was the case. Now I might get 2 or 3.
