What's the point of this thread? besides incouraging disconfort, swearing and plain simple useless war?
I'm from Argentina, I've visited Brasil, I like it too, I'm learning 3rd of brazilean portuguese and I have both english (UK) and brazilean friends. From that UK-user comment, I get that many just hate us without reason, and I've also been told (by others UK citizens) that there's a lotta hate&racism but it's general and not Argentina-focused, I mean SOME ppl just hate everybody.
Now, again, I like the british accent, I like their architecture, and maybe even some TV shows.
I wasn't there when Islas Malvinas or as others call them Falklands, but I always come across hate comments about it and Im sure if I'd ask why, then they would not know or swear and go. Like for instance, the other day someone posted that State of Decay had hidden dicks in texture, so in an article about the news, an argentinian said he was argentinian and that he liked the game, below his comment there was someone that said (I'll try to put it as close as I can remember) "is that you can't take a joke about Falklands?" or something like that, why? what did State of Decay news had to do with that?
Anyway, if I didn't like Brasil (with an S, in spanish) I wouldn't be studying and talking with our country brothers, I wouldn't think they also have a paradise, I wouldn't like their music, the smoothness of their women skin, just to name a few things.
So again, what or why is this here?

Diego Simone did kind of get David Beckham sent off in 98 as well. Also Sol Campbell had a perfectly good goal disallowed in that very same game.
Also, England has a VERY long memory when it comes to football. :)
As for racism, it's a very racist country in certain parts, but not really directed towards South America in the slightest.

I have to vote Argentina, because I never see them playing on NA servers derping up the game with their laggy, third world, dial-up connection. Brazilians on the other hand and the scum of the Earth when it comes to online play.

Country is beautiful, but the shitty behaviour of the average brazilian ('brbr' attitude, egocentrism, selfishness, laziness, political ignorance, etc.) is the reason that all memes are true and my vote would go for Argentina.

It has to do with the server location. That is why playing out of region on BF4 is frowned upon by the community. You might have a good connection and a great ISP but you will still have a 500-900 ping when playing on NA servers out of region.
Brazilians, probably due to poor infrastructure, tend to have 1500-3000 ping.

Just because you have decent speeds doesn't mean that that country doesn't have poor infrastructure. Speed isn't the only factor in determining if an network infrastructure is good, in fact it is the least considered factor.

I don't think that Argentina has a better infrastructure than Brazil, but almost everyone in Argentina prefers to play in national servers because of low ping.
Even if all the national servers in a game like Battlefield are laggy, i know very few people who would rather play in a server from a different country and those few i know will not join a server if they get a ping above 250.

We actually play on the NA servers....but we try our best to speak english so everyone can understand.
No to mention our internet infraestructure is a little better than Brazil's, even when they have more internet speed.

btw, i can talk something about the brazilian, they come to our faculty (Medicine as far i know) and some of them are very friendly and very responsible. But others tend to dont make argentinians friends and stay in his/her groups or brazilian people, and for this they dont practice spanish because why they would speak spanish with his/her brazilian friends. Consequence of this is hard to explain Anatomy and Histology to them and this finish in go bad in the faculty, for a problem in the comprehession in 1 st year. 2 year and on the majority of brazilian people can speak spanish more fluid. Hope you understand.

Our vice president have tons of criminal charges and our president is suspected to have send to kill a prosecutor that had a lot of evidence against her, also the goverment stole millions too, the police stole millions on drugs (on my city, Cordoba) and the dollar is worth 10x the peso today (officilly is less than 10 but yeah... paralel versions of dollars and a lot of thing makes that the average)

Our vice president has been accused of a lot of crimes which haven't been proved yet. The biggest media corporation claims that our president sent to kill a prosecutor that CLAIMED he had a lot of evidence against her (the evidence that was presented and discarded by almost everyone for having no ground). And the dollar is equal to 8.79x, using the values set by the black market isn't appropriate because the "unofficial" dollar reached 12,70x not so long ago and should have no influence on the population (except for those that perform illegal activities)

I dont want to make this a political discussion, but i will state my opinions anyway... first yeah... proved or not proved the acusations against our vice president are really a bad thing just by existing, one can not get such acusations by being a great person... its undeniable that he have done some bad things... and again the president is suspected to have sent to kill Nisman. I am saying this without any political agenda, and being the most impartial that i can and i can truly say that all of this is suspicious at the least.
Also yeah the value of the dollar is "8.79" but existence of an "unofficial" dollar that is more expensive than the official and it sells anyway tells you something about why it exist... that "8.79" dollar isnt easy to get and the goverment have put a lot of inconvinience to get dollars and buying on dollars (or buying anthing from outside the country really and i can say that from experince, i bought 2 cheap products. i think all cost 10 dollars on DECEMBER of last year and i havent hear a thing from the customs since then and it should have arived months ago...)

You can get all kinds of accusations when you attack the most powerful media corporation of this country.
Nisman's death is suspicious but there are a lot of things that don't make sense about it (to avoid getting political I won't list them).
Now in general, one side will always try to undermine the other one, there's no real mystery on that and sentences are made after the evidence proves one thing or the other (ideally, of course it doesn't happen like that in any country 100% of the time). Being accused of something shouldn't be a problem unless there's real evidence to back it up (I won't defend the vp because I really don't know a lot about his situation but so far he hasn't been convicted so I won't pass judgment because I truly don't have enough information to have my own opinion)
It's true that buying stuff from other countries is a pain. I also agree that the measures affect the wrong people as well but considering the amount of money laundry and tax evasion that has been proven to happen, I understand the reason behind them (although I believe that there should be a better system to judge people's actions because it makes no sense to damage all types of imports when there's not even real competition to some products). Still, buying from the black market is illegal, I think it's counter-productive that so many newspapers and tv programs keep talking about the price of the "blue dollar", like it's called.
