Killing zombies, skinning them, then using the meat to distract other zombies is great. Or you can kill people and do the same thing, either way.

The Long Dark I liked this one, theres a survival mode where you stay alive as long as possible with dwindling resources, worsening weather, and hostile wildlife. Theres an episodic story mode as well that isn't yet complete, the 4th part of 5 should be coming out this year if all goes well.

Conan Exiles is the only one have had any luck with.

Survivalist is a good budget indie survival game.

Or if you want something totally free, Cataclym DDA.

I`m not into survival games but as for the onlines there are , Days , Rust , Ark Survival Evolved and i suppose those are the best ones

I liked Stranded deep, Green hell. From not such knkwn is interesting survival game Hobo: Tough life, where are you homeless trying to survive.

It's not a genre I'd usually consider but I got Subnautica recently (thanks Epic!) and I liked it so much that I played it all the way to the end.

Green Hell? new coop mode, coop story mode and soon achievement
