It's good, but I would go with the Xbox controller.

i agree with you but you some games really need a controller

That's a blatant lie , there's no way you 100% that game which includes complete all levels without dying in dark and normal worlds , and those extra special levels with a keyboard.
Plus you only played 9 hours of it , and don't have half the achievements.
winning a game =/= 100% a game.

ofc you did. . .dis is ridiculous, the input peripheries war and factions inside thee MASTER race, that's just bonkers!!
i don't get ppl that preach either of these 2 as a superior;i for one phuckin love both,i wouldn't trade my blue cherrymx kb for anything, nor would I swap my 360con. and logitech's dual action, prolly not even for steambox' own controller(maybe if i decide to dish out the extra buck at some point).
Point is,don't be spiteful as phuck, don't be a goddamn bigot, open your mind maan, relax n njoy all the heavenly tech we've been blessed with.

Well its not needed but certain types of games feel better with one, games like fighters, platformers, racing, etc...at least that's how many people including myself feel.
Would not use one for games like FPS or RTS....or anything sim related.

Yeah those are for the the ones I need a controller for....although I tried to play Devil May Cry 4 with a keyboard once and I felt like crying after.

Fighting games are best on fighting sticks, old arcade style.

510 for feedback/360 one , depends on what stick layout you prefer.

Then you did it wrong. Logitech is the most loyal company i ever dealed with.

I have the F510 and love it. I prefer this layout over the 360 and I can switch mode for older games not compatible with XInput.

Get a PDP Rock Candy for like $20 from one of the big box stores. It's a great wired unofficial Xbox controller. I've had mine for years and it's outlasted all of my friend's controllers. BTW never buy those cheap Gamestop knockoffs. My buddy bought one when I bought this Rock Candy and his controller was screwing up within a few months.

they have tons of colors, i just linked that pink one by chance

I'll say Xbox for Windows Wireless controller. I love mine. Best money I ever spent for a controller.

Logitech Cordless rumblepad 2 ;) , i loved them so much i got 2 extra for multiplayer and a backup just in case
too bad they are D-input, i need to use an emulater for X-input only games. FU MICROSOFT
but they are really durable and have a nice battery drain that i dont even bother with rechargeables
and as a PS1,2 player they look like Sony DS but a bit larger for an easy fit.
if i dont have those i would get the new X-input logitech gamepad or use a DS3

Have you actually used this? If it's any good I could gift one to my GF for her laptop.

Standard, wired, Microsoft Xbox360 controller is the best gamepad.
Joysticks depend much on personal preference, I love my Logitech Attack 3.
And then there's like one good fightstick, but I don't have it.

Except its not...
Kinda like saying "well the sky is always blue for me".

It kinda is though. I understand what you mean tho :p
Input devices that have been classified as game controllers include keyboards, mice, gamepads, joysticks, etc. Special purpose devices, such as steering wheels for driving games and light guns for shooting games, are also game controllers.

Assuming she can control you with it, the it's a controller.

I actually prefer the 360 one most, 2nd fav would be a PS2 controller...with adapter.
