I wanted to know if the game is too heavy on the strategy part, i really dont like strategy games, i get bored of them pretty quickly, i kinda liked x-com enemy unknown but i ended up droping it while i got to the first enemy base(i guess they are more)
I cant seem to find this on any reviews and i dont want to spoil too much of the game by watching a lets play

You actually control the aiming, which is nice. And the characters will fire on enemies that cross their line of site, without having to use special commands. So, its necessary to position people properly to provide cover.

Choose character -> Move to next square on the "grid" -> Choose action -> Repeat for remaining party members -> End Turn -> Enemy action -> Repeat

In short, yes. It's all strategy.

He is wrong listen. I've played through it once on PS3 and am replaying it on the PC. You can totally be an action hero if you want. It allows many play styles. Some people play the game with a single character sprinting across the battlefield headshotting everybody while others play sniper elite while other still play it tactically.

The game gives you a top down view of the battlefield and you select which unit you control in real time for short bursts, the turn ends usually when you take a shot but can vary depending on their unique stats and abilities. It's about 20% strategy and 80% action. You can split that 80% into 40 and 40 if you wanna include plot.

There are no Squares in that game, you can freely move for a specific distance.

You could try watching a skirmish video ^__^. They're not part of the story, just extra battle scenarios with no plot. Here's one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6DrMdOOtAts

It's like TPS but with strategy
For me it's not that heavy (because I'm bad at strategy too)

It's more like you have understand that a sniper can't destroy a tank with a sniper rifle
Yeah some thing like that xD
And the terrain will determine everything too.. almost
