This week we’re visiting another Landmark – The George Pompidou Centre in Paris, France.

Because all of the normal equipment that a regular building has to have in order to function such as plumbing, air-conditioning, electrical, elevators, escalators, etc… is on the outside, the museum is able to host gigantic works of modern art! Just look at some of the installations that wouldn’t be possible in a regular museum… Of course, the museum displays regular sized art as well but make sure to bring your walking shoes!

To begin your exploration, please visit either link below for a puzzle stop at a satellite museum – The George Pompidou Centre – Metz.
Medium puzzle
Smallish puzzle
I HIGHLY recommend signing up for a free jigidi account so that you can save your progress and also revisit puzzle solutions.

There is a small train after you complete one of the above jigsaw puzzles AND a short, easily solvable ITH. At the end of the train is a mystery game with a slightly more difficult jigsaw puzzle gate. All GA's are level 2 and end on November 30th. Have fun!

Note: Collect the passcodes from the 5 landmarks from this week to gain access to a train for November week 1!

Schedule for complete event and access to weekly trains can be found HERE

Shouldn't be the medium and smallish puzzle be switched with each?

And do both jigidi lead to the same ITH?

Switched - thanks for pointing out the error. And yes, they both lead to the same ITH (though it would have been cool if I'd made two different quizzes, huh? Solve the super hard jigidi and get the easy ITH OR solve the super easy jigidi and get the super difficult ITH). Hmm, I like it!! Maybe for the next landmark....

Would have liked that, I solved both bc I was so pumped to get jigidis again before realizing they both lead to the same quiz. ^^ And now I'm stuck at Q3, my googling doesn't help.

Did you google the question "what did the critics say the Pompidou Centre looked like?" Because if you did, then the answer can be found - this one only has one correct answer.

I googled the center and added things like "critics", "critique", "criticisim" and got nothing. But googling the whole phrase actually got meh answer, oh man... Thanks!

There are four different answers and they are all found in Google searches :-)

I found one answer. Which happens to be not a reaction of French folks. But that works. :)

four different answers where? I know the history of the place well and none of the words I try are right. Do I actually have to google it instead of using my knowledge?

I highly recommend using Google to obtain one of the correct answers (as that is where I got the "correct" answers)

I got that but I'm French and googling about the Pompidou Centre to find one specific word is like throwing a haystack in the air to find the needle hidden in it. I get hundreds of results in French despite asking for results in English only and the "correct" answer doesn't exactly pop out.
Thanks for the reply

Oh!! I found the 4 words answer. Thanks so much.
I think Q2 description should be "What was the reaction of French after George Pompidou Centre was finished?" because I have misunderstanding with the picture. haha~

The answer to the second question is not about the french...
The country of the magazine is United States.
I think the question is wrong.
Please correct me if I am wrong and tell me if i should delete this comment.

Well I dunno - this is just supposed to be fun - I had no idea that I needed to write a term paper and cite my sources :-p But if you must know the article quoted a French newspaper and a French president of the museum.
