Humble Gift link question

Let's say I was given a Humble gift link, I click that and accept the gift. Then I go to my account and revel the cd-key.
After this point is there any way that this cd-key can be used by the original gifter?

Not to my knowledge, once you claimed a gift link its gone for good from his possession = only you

own/have the claimed Link
see the Key when you reveal it (which best done just before you're going to use it)

If it isn't activated, you could send them the key in steam chat or something.

You mean about giveaways? No, I was thinking of doing a trade but the key will not be used right away so I wanted to make sure that I can keep the key safely for later.
