What, no one's mentioned Superman from Superman 64 yet? Am I the one who's gonna have to say it? (beat) sigh Alright...

Sadly, I was one of the few that did. And almost beat it, too. Game crashed midway through the last level. Maybe my N64 just couldn't believe that I had kept playing such a shitty game for so long, that it killed the cart to spare itself the pain.
That's what I'd like to think, instead of the cartridge being a piece of shit to begin with. >:(

Jason Brody. Loved Farcry 3, hated the character.

Vader's apprentice in Force Unleashed 2. Worst Star Wars Game ever. Weak story with unlikable characters. "tainted" pansy-ass bastard from Two Worlds 1, War from Darksiders 1, that guy from Prototype, every character from Call of Juarez Cartel, Desmond Miles from Assassin's Creed, Hope and Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII, and probably a few more I can't remember.

I was thinking about it for a while and surprisingly I can't give you even one answer. I think it is because when I play I identify with the character I'm playing as and when I feel I don't like it I'm very likely to stop playing (or not pick up the game at all). I guess that means I play only those games where I like the main character and identify with him - am I somewhat confined or limited by that? I guess...

Corvo from Dishonored. I don't think there has ever been a worse use of a silent protagonist. The guy has absolutely no identity and just gets dragged along into obnoxiously stupid situations because he lacks the ability to verbalize the word "no."

Commander Shepard.
I think it's because of the voice acting, although I still haven't tried the female version, but it's the most lifeless and emotionless character in existence. Somehow it put me off from the game when you are supposed to make life- and galaxy saving decisions, and wether he's a saint or an aggressive asshole, your hero sounds like a politician on a press conference, even before boning a blue-skinned scantily clad alien.
Other than that one, and I fucking hate to say it, but I loathe pretty much all the fairies in Zanzarah: The Hidden Portal. Soooooo goddamn obnoxious voice acting.

After recently playing dead space 1, I did not like the character Isaac. I didn't know much about him the whole way through and his posture is horrible when he walks.

My winner vote goes to the Big Daddy from BioShock 2.
