Take an Economics course. Its a lot more interesting than people think. People hear "economics" and think "accounting", but its really all about the psychology of incentives. Granted, the most obvious incentive is usually money, but there's a lot more to it than that.

I'm doing economics right now, but the maths is too much for me since I'm doing a double degree with IT. I'm definitely interested in the subject matter, but I don't see myself being an economist.

I did a double degree as well with economics being one. I'm not a practicing economist, but it serves me well in monitoring commodities, industries, and forecasting.
Double degree - so different than a double major... Here's to overload semesters every year!

Yeah, it's kind of a thing here in Australia. Haha. We have normal loads (4 courses every semester), but unlike single degrees it takes us 4 years (at least) instead of 3. A double degree with undergrad law though takes around 5.
I would've liked to continue doing Econ, but I'm not doing very well in my basic maths course as my poor aptitude in algebra is making calculus way too difficult for me. I'm still hoping I could at least pass that course, though, but I've already decided to do an Arts/IT double degree next semester

I'm a no-one that wasn't even able to finish high school. Life has put me in the position of the Operations Coordinator and part of the team responsible of implementing, supporting, and managing the more than 550 databases that comprise most of the critical-state systems for my country. Self taught in most of the technologies I use.

I was trying to encourage young people to always shoot for their goals in spite of failures. But, hey, you are welcome! =)

Hardware Engineer for the past year. Started the month after graduation last year. In the US you get into debt at a top tier university for the networking. Often it can land you in a nice place.

Went back to uni after working for 2 years as a journalist in the Philippines. I'm doing a double degree in Economics and IT here in Australia, but I will soon change to an Arts/IT double degree next semester as my brain can only handle so much maths.
I am still currently employed casually at an inventory systems provider, but I barely get any shifts since uni started. I am looking to get a cadetship (sort of a paid internship) after I become eligible, so I can earn some money while learning real world IT.

After graduation I worked as a customs officer in Anti-Smuggling Division. Not very long though, about half a year. After I quit I've been a freelance journalist for some time, then I've got job as a reporter on local TV-channel news. It was interesting, but shortly after that I've got good job opportunity in Thailand, so I moved here and now I work in real estate.

I'm nothing at all, not studying, and have no future.
And I have no money.
Planning on finally getting a job in the following months, or month, if everything goes as planned...
