Best of luck and play all the best games. I see Dark Souls there, personally my best gaming experience besides the STALKER series. Did you play through entirely solo or did you ever call on Solaire/other help during a fight? Orstein and Smough was tough af solo but I managed to do it and get Ornstein's sweet armor set. Best feeling ever in a game. I was tingling after it felt so good.
Game i would recommend is Enslaved: Odyssey to the West. I couldn't put into words how much I loved it, although the gameplay of platforming can be simplistic sometimes. Worth it.

Yes and no - a lot of them are for summoning, but it's NPC's. It's all there on YouTube. Aneurisms are no joke, I know someone who died from one at 16 years old when I was in HS. Good that you survived and here's hoping you recover fully, I'll pray for you.
