Which FREE games actually drop cards without investing in?

No. Free games never drop cards without spending money in them, this it to prevent abuse for obvious reasons.

However, there are many freebies to catch, that are free for you, paid on steam, and they do drop cards.

If you want to start farming business, you might also be interested in ASF.

You can catch Games on mass giveaways like in this Subreddit many games have cards drop :)

No, you don't have to put money into any game(This is only for Free to Play games, which I think drops card per 9$, I forgot, you just google it), go to your Badges, you'll see which games say "# Cards drop remaining" something like this, that means you just keep that game running idle, you don't even have to play it, just keep it running, it'll eventually start dropping cards after it exceeds 2 hours playtime, if you run another game(Tested on running two games at same time, one for cards and another to play, cards game minimized while playing another one), it can go up to 6-15 hours to drop first card.

if you factor in your time+pc power usage+pc wear and tear+the fraction of your internet bill wasted+ etc. it hardly seems worth it to go that route.
