Trading Card Offers

Someone on my friends list, sent me a card offer, although, it says the items aren't available for trade.
There is no decline option on it.
I have asked the guy about it, but no reply.

It's annoying me, cause I keep on thinking I have received something, or a new messsage.

Does anyone know how to decline it?

Wait for a while. I got 4 identical trade offers that couldn't be dismissed, but after around a day they disappeared.
I just kept Steam minimized so I didn't have to see it.

my friend got this too recently, just get your friend to send you a trade offer again and it should clear up

+1. Got my friend to send me a trade offer and it cleared it up. You can just decline your friend's offer after that.

Are you talking about the green notification not going away? I got that earlier today. It goes away after you receive another trade offer from anyone.
