Sending gift to winner

I see lots of people sending key to winner by adding them on steam and writing a message, for me sending by e-mail is much better because i'm not allways on my computer, so i can't be on steam all time, but i can check my e-mail from almost everywhere.
What do you think?

Well if you see he's online on steam, add him and send him the key, if not, send via mail ? :)

That's an option too, but sometimes people just keep tryin' to catch the winner on steam for long time, instead of sending via mail

Better to send while chatting than by e-mail. I prefer to have direct contact with the winner, it's easier to check if he activated it and he can tell you right away if something is wrong with the key. (if it was a key and not a gift copy, of course)
