how it gets in your way if its minimized unless u alt tab in middle of the game to use cheats ?
personally i started to have doubts about ubisoft with their latest releases less optimization = shity fps and alot of bugs some which are game breaking bugs they fixes them but after couple of weeks when people started to get around them + they should stop using new gen pcs to make their new engines/games so to force people to buy new upgrades so it can play their overexpensive games

Never had an issue with that. It's just like having another application open. How is that even annoying?

I never had issues with Steam, Uplay, Origin or GFWL but for some reason there's always a group of people out there that hate one of each service. So apparently me not having any issues does not mean others had the same experience... go figure.

Uplay games bought through Steam are fine, because they rely on Steam for patching, and sales, and regional pricing.. Uplay games bought through Uplay on the other hand; prices are $20 more for my region than over steam, sales are regional; though Europe and the US get sales semi-frequently they never apply for my country, and finally downloading and patching is a god damned mess.
I downloaded Splinter Cell Blacklist from Uplay (game came with my graphics card,) it took 10 hours. This is twice as long as a similar sized game takes on Steam. Then, after that I still had to patch, because Uplay refuses to just let you download a patched version of the game right off the bat. This took over an hour because the "auto patcher" refused to download at top speeds and also required user input after it finished each download.
Worst of all, despite the fact I had specifically set in my Uplay options that I did not want installers deleted automatically after installation because I didn't want to ever go through all that bullshit all over again, it still deleted all the installers immediately after installation.

My first game with Uplay was Splinter Cell: Blacklist. Totally shit. It had 4 updates and, instead of Uplay updating it (Like Steam does), you have to launch the game and wait for an update, and when the update finishes, instead of downloading the next update, the game launches! And you have to close it and run it again, 4 times... And also the shift+F1 menu, totally lagged... and when you can't create a game or join another friend's game... really shitty. Ubisoft is a really shitty developing company. You know the game The Division that they are spamming now? They are making exactly the same as Watch Dogs, and surely the game is going to be plenty of bugs and really bad developed, that's the way they do things, they live on prepurchases. And after a few months they are going to abandon the game and don't put any update more altough is plenty of bugs, like they have done with Splinter Cell: Blacklist and are going to do with Watch Dogs.

Never had this problems, usually Steam does all the updating on my end

You are just a lucky man. I have only two games on Uplay and both have issues with Ubisoft online stuff.
Heroes V: totaly broken cloud service, it never synchronized my saves.
Blood Dragon: welcomes me with error message that ubisoft online service is not available and i can't save. Perfect!
and guess what, ubisoft support doesnt care about that. You can report whatever, they ignoring that.

Remember that update that fixed WatchDogs? Yeah that was great also!

I never had any problems, but it's a little annoying. A few days ago, when I was willing to play Far Cry 3, I launched Uplay and when I clicked on PLAY, the damned thing popped up a message saying I needed to be online on Steam too.
No matter what, you need to have the 2 clients open.

Indeed, We need games on Steam that require you to launch in the following method:
Open Steam to launch Gamestop app (R.I.P Impulse), GameStop app launches old GameFly app, old GameFly app launches Origin, Origin launches Uplay, Uplay launches Xfire to use the game store, Xfire launches Raptr which gives you points due to the closed store to unlock your game, Raptr launches GameSpy, and GameSpy does nothing as it was shut down. xD
Best game ever! GOTY!

That sounds totally reasonable, I don't see nothing wrong there!

There is a way to crack the uplay client out of the game?
So I have full functionality on steam but uplay don't start at all?

Why would I do that anyway? It's not that annoying anyway, and I already finished Far Cry so, pointless by now

I really like how most of their games involve guns. I love guns, I'm 12 and I really like to shoot things and blow them up. Shooting 1,000s of bullet sponges really makes for a good game, not innovation in gameplay or a gripping story.

While it has improved since its release, UPlay is still an intrusive piece of shit DRM. Playing farcry 3 for example, the game tries to connect to online everytime I check the menu or come across a cutscene even when I have the client in offline mode.

I wish I could play From Dust. I had to abandon it after Uplay decided to get stuck in an eternal updating cycle :'(

It is cause there are updates all the time, to improve ;)

"Steam could learn much stuff from Ubisoft, imho." Haha, GOOD JOKE!

I love how they charge Euros instead of the local currency in your country if not US dollars. <3

You sure about that? Cause I'm not that convinced that it is obvious!

...especially their awesome DRM measure Uplay. It always works on launch titles flawlessly, never any problems at all.
Steam could learn much stuff from Ubisoft, imho. Like Wallpaper rewards, I really love them, unlock them all the time.
Or take Watch_Dogs, they reduced special effects, cause PC's are too weak to handle that effects.
The PC at E3 who played the demo, was liquid nitrogen cooled, to be able to play it.
Atleast that's what I heard on reddit. But PCs are definitely no match to the current next console generation.
Or take their Anvil Engine, no match to Valve's puny, petty SOURCE engine.
Also, I really love Basketball, especially it's latest game
NBA 2K14...
Just sayin'...
SOLUTION:
First hint was NBA 2K14, I made a public one in the past: CLICK
If you looked into the source there (ctrl+u), you would find this link: CLICK
Which was a hex code, that can be found out there: CLICK
Result was this nGI3UeNv, the end code of the itstoohard link to the puzzle ;)
http://www.itstoohard.com/puzzle/nGI3UeNv
Dunno if you want me to post the puzzle answers aswell? Let me know :D
