yeah I also bought it on sale a few days ago. Have contacted Steam Support, they say the same think. They ran out of keys, and we can only wait.

Gift copies aren't bound to a key until they are activated? That seems sketchy.

No copy can get an activation key until the download starts. Then you can 'view cd key' in your library or wait until installation and it will automatically get it for you. Except of course when they run out.

No. You can view cd key as soon as the game is tied to your account

I can't. For me to view the cd key, the download must have started. If it isn't, there is no option to 'view cd key'.

+1 I tried to view cd key on my mount and blade(you can run more mods out of steam than in) but i had to start the install first, you can cancel it at 1% but it has to start.

same happened for a bit(like a week I think? people had been complaining for a few days before I tried to install) with rome total war. use the key to add to account but they were out of authorization keys or something so had to wait a day for it to get more.

Best quote from that thread:

"man I sure hope that truck full of keys gets to valve hq soon"

Fable 3 is a gfwl title, with the discontinuation of the marketplace Microsoft noted that they'd be discontinuing sales of all first party titles using the service.

Id just try for a refund as I doubt they'll be getting more keys or that the game will havegfwl patched out.

the game kinda sucks anyway, if you get a chance get your money back and use your refund to buy fable 1. too bad 2 isn't on computers, wasn't as good as 1 but better than 3 because maybe you have 1 already

too bad about jack of blade's voice in tlc though, I liked the original audio

and the worst thing is it still didn't let me kill reaver

That game is awful just get Fable : TLC or if you have it play it again, Fable III is horrible.

Probably the worst sequel to a game I've ever played. Disgrace to first Fable.

Micro$oft is great at shutting down their services and then selling you a game with no keys for said service.

Just hope that you can play the game before GFWL closes down, lol.
