This is kinda silly and makes no sense, because LOTS of people don't speak english, they can't understand what message did you put into description, other people just dont want to read those description's because they are empty in the most of giveaways. Or they are just too lazy for it to read.

In my opinion, this is totally not the best idea.

Rather than punish users who don't read - try rewarding those who do.

Maybe putting an even better game (or extra copies of the game) as a private/invite GA in the description. Users who don't read, miss out.

it's good you get blacklisted by people by doing this, just saves you time to deal with those ungrateful peasants later.

I dislike when people doesn't read the description. I always read them because it's a way to show gratitude and respect to the gifter. But I'm also thinking in all the posibilities. Let's say an user that english is not his main language. Someone could teach him to use the site (in their own language), like "click here and you see all the giveaways and these are the images for the games given away, and when you open it, click the big green button to participate", and he could end participating in many, many giveaways and never know what says the description, not because he doesn't want to but because he doesn't understand english. That would be my case if this site were in russian or chinese or any other language that I don't understand.

Reading descriptions is a must. Hell, there is someone giving away a game for free, reading his stuff is the least someone can do in exchange.
