Do I regret my purchase? No. I am actually glad I purchased when I did (summer 2017) as I got to see a lot of highs and lows and the fact is that it was the first of its kind (to a degree). I got a good year out of playing, and even made a few friends. I remember some of the big changes/updates: like optimization, the new map, and even playing the 8-person squad mode. However, it does seem like after it left Early Access my interest in the game also left. Maybe I got burnt out, maybe due to so many other BR type games now but I can't really put my finger on it...

Game is dying, full of desync bullshit, physics same as in Arma, devs should step up or it dies completely in no time.

Thanks for posting the deal, I imagine you may get some levels of undeserved hate for this but the fyi is always appreciated. Saw the game for the potential shitshow when it came out so I would also push people to avoid it like the plague especially now.

I love the game, it's the most fun I've had in gaming over the last 10 years hands down... but it's still difficult to recommend. The devs are incompetent, there's no other way to put it. They have an okay grasp on game design, but everything technical is just beyond them it seems.

The game still to this day runs pretty poorly, framerates dropping all of a sudden for no apparent reason etc. The servers are awful with massive amounts of lag (especially at the start of a round). Cheating is still a problem from time to time. Though the work they are doing seems to be working, the amount of cheaters have dropped overall... they then managed to recently ban thousands of legitimate players by accident. Only to do the exact same thing again the following week.

If there is one thing anti-cheat simply cannot do, it's ban innocent players... and they did that twice in two weeks. Sure, they reverted all the bans in less than 10 hours each time but it's still not acceptable ever have happened in the first place. And I'm not sure they would have acted so quickly unless so many of their favorite streamers weren't hit in that first false ban-wave as well. That seems to be the only reason they took it seriously. The devs simply don't know what they are doing and seem to be winging it at every step.

It's a real shame because the core gameplay is really fun. I think at the right price the game is well worth it but people need to know that there are issues going in.
