Sorry, I gotta go with Slash. No disrespect to Buckethead or you, but Slash did November Rain with GNR. Buckethead is an amazing guitarist though, there's no doubt about that. I think I'll quote Tupac with " What more can I say, I wouldn't be here today; if the old school didn't pave the way".

He's definitely one of the greatest of all time. No one can match his originality,technique and all around guitar playing ability. I love the Star Wars finish too. It all boils down to preference really. Greatness is all a matter of opinion and preference. I remember playing Guitar Hero Aerosmith and Buckethead had a track on there and that was the hardest track ever and I've played all of them and could beat virtually any of the songs on hard except his. Vastly different than actually playing a real guitar, but even in a game his tracks were the most difficult. He's amazing, I could never argue that. It's all about preference.
