Bethesda's Creation Kit for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will be made available on February 7, according to a Twitter update by VP of PR and Marketing Pete Hines

For our Skyrim PC fans, the Creation Kit is on track for release on Tuesday. And, we also have a special surprise with it.

It looks pretty cool to me and with no shortage of talented people with way too much time on their hands, I would say there will be some very good Skyrim mods and addons in our future - so, yeah, definitely worth mentioning

God I hope so. The textures Bethesda uses are so crappy to begin with. Maybe the special surprise is that they finally relented and hired modders to fix everything they could never hope to, like broken AI, crappy textures, physics bugs, CHARACTER MODELS...

it just syncs your saves and stuff online mostly, so if you went somewhere else and logged into steam you could play your save, or if you had multiple PCs you use it would also be handy.
